Tengri Coal PLC

Tengri Coal PLC is focused on exploration and development of its thermal coal deposits at the Tsaidam Nuur area.

The deposits are located 130 km southeast of Ulaanbaatar and are just about 25 kilometers from the main Trans Mongolian railway to China and Russia. Russian geologists have identified 600MT+ of brown coal deposits, located close to surface. German experts of Vattenfall Europe Mining AG agreed to cooperate on the deposit findings. In the coming months a CPR will be done and JORC standards will be applied to all deposits within the next two years. Tengri Coal will supply their coal products to markets in Mongolia, China and Russia.
